Analog cameras have a horrible picture quality. Digital cameras are better but they can't see at night since most of them have IR filters installed. The Canon SX130 IS (and the older SX 120 IS) have the best customization options (allows for manual adjustment of shutter, aperture, ISO, etc. ) for the price ($200) but, of course, it can't see at night and can't benefit from IR illuminators since it has an IR filter installed. Well, I was finally able to remove the filter and put it all back together without destroying the camera. pics are below if anyone else wants to do this.
